The Acid Wash (AW) filter elements capture excess ammonia that may be introduced into the sample stream. Since this wash consists of a chemical bond between ammonia (NH3) and washed (phosphoric) acid, the filter elements improve the protection of sensitive equipment.

Standard dimensions of the filter elements for acid washing
You won’t need a new filter housing installation as our AW filter elements are based on industry standard sizes, so you can install them into existing filter housings already in service. Also, if you need custom sizes, these can be provided for your cases as well.
How to order
Our Acid Wash filter elements are in stock. Add suffix .AW to the part number of the S-type filter element.
