FLM101 PTFE-Membrane Housing
We are happy to announce that one of the products we have been asked for on a number of occasions, a PTFE-membrane housing for aggressive or demanding environments, is now part of our continued product list. We do manufacture the standard SM106 and SM125 housing in PTFE but in most cases the customer just wants a simple in-line unit to fit into an analyser as a final means of protection that takes up very little space and is easy to service. More often than not the units are fitted into flexible pipework and the push-on spigots make it an ideal choice. We have in the past just made these simple units as specials for particular OEM customers, but due to increasing numbers of people asking for this item we have decided to make it a standard product.
Our PTFE-Membrane housings are offering more options
The FML101 PTFE-Membrane Housing is machined from solid PTFE bar and takes the standard MT.33 size PTFE membrane, so the standard membrane replacements we supply all fit, cutting out the need to purchase another type of filter. The housing comes with either ¼” diameter spigots or 1/8” or ¼” NPT female ports. Housings are easily serviceable by just unscrewing the knurled ring and can easily be removed from the pipework if required as there are only two simple connections.
However if the unit is likely to see a fair amount of moisture a standard format housing such as the SM106 series should be used – these are also available in PTFE or PVDF.
